Graveside services will be at 3 p.m. Thursday in Memory Gardens Cemetery in Amarillo, Texas. Arrangements are by Carter Funeral Home.

Mrs. McBroom was born Nov. 2, 1913, in Melstone, Mont., to James Raymond Williams and Rose Adylon Whittenberg. She married William Frank McBroom on Aug. 25, 1932, in Clovis, N.M. She was a member of Pomona Christian Church and was a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her husband in 1984; her parents; and two brothers, Leroy Williams and Donald Williams.

Survivors include two daughters, Dolores McClellan and husband, Fred, of West Plains and Loretta Knost and husband, Glenn, of Coalmont, Tenn.; three grandchildren, Anita Shaw of Hastings, Mich., Melissa Hooper of Amarillo and Janice Jacobson of Centralia, Mo.; a grandson, Billy Fugate of Coalmont; 10 great-grandchildren; and a special nephew, Leroy Williams.

The family will be at Melissa Hooper's home at 14715 Sundown Trail in Amarillo. Amarillo Globe-News, April 30, 2002
